Why We Built This Site
Colorado record access involves several custodians. JCSO holds its incident, local contact, and detention material. Jefferson Combined Court keeps filed charges, court events, and dispositions. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation's Biometric Identification and Records Unit compiles statewide fingerprint-supported history, while corrections and registry systems answer narrower questions. We organize those distinct official channels so readers can identify the right custodian before making a request.
What You Will Find Here
- Agency contacts: where to reach JCSO, Jefferson Combined Court, and Colorado record systems
- Record guides: how criminal court case records are located and read in Jefferson County
- Official check routes: how CBI name-based and fingerprint-supported self-review channels differ
- Record relief: where Colorado sealing and juvenile expungement forms are filed
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference, with no connection to a Colorado court, police department, sheriff, or state agency. Its limits are firm:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file expungement petitions, records requests, or any other paperwork on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
An official copy must come from its custodian, such as JCSO, Jefferson Combined Court, or CBI. This site can only identify the proper source.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages. They operate their own services, set their own prices, and control their results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports the site's operation. We do not set the provider's charges or determine what its search returns.
